The government released a list of “essential businesses” still open during the next several months to clarify this situation. We’ve been in consultation with our legal professionals and others in a similar position and as a result have to be selective about our movements. Essential projects are of course, are safety related flooring. Safety flooring and antimicrobial floors are especially necessary in food processing and MSC Floors are considered an essential support contractor on those projects.
Once we return to form we will continue to take the steps to ensure the continuity of our services. Fortunately for our particular business, keeping our crews and chemicals safely away from our customers during installation is always top priority. We’re letting you know that we’ve improved upon that process during this unusual circumstance.
MSC Floors and MSC Electrical are closely monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and evolving government responses on our employees and operations. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive business continuity and contingency plans. We have also established an internal committee to continuously monitor the impact of the virus on our operations and our employees.
